“Just returned home from a lovely night away with my two sons age 8 and 15.
With the age gap between my boys i find it hard to find things we can all enjoy, most of the time my eldest doesn't want to participate in anything other than going out with his friends and his computer.
The Lodge was the perfect place for us all to spend time together, with the hot tub and hammock being the favourite part for both boys.
We toasted marshmallows in the fire pit as the sun went down which we all had fun doing.
We all had a lovely night away from everything, making memories as a family which is priceless.

The check in process was very easy and they showed us how to access the site and our cabin. The site itself is gated off so is very secure and away from busy roads on a nature reserve next to a little lake.
The cabin was exactly as it looked, very clean and has everything we needed for our stay and the hot tub was a great extra!
The hosts were very accommodating and told us if we needed anything extra that they would provide and also provided a tablet with all information and more.
Overall this was a great stay if you are looking for a relaxing break and we would definitely book again. Thank you!”

“Me and my daughter enjoyed a wonderful overnight stay. The pod is pristine, modern and very comfortable. It felt really Private, and has wonderful views over the lake, you can’t help but feel a sense of calm come over you from the moment you arrive.
We enjoyed a long walk in the local nature reserve before checking in, followed by tea at the local pub and evening relaxing in the hot tub with a glass of Prosecco.
Taking out morning coffee and breakfast on the decking watching the fish jump from the water before James came and wished us farewell.
I’d absolutely return to stonelake when I’m next in need of a bit of downtime, peace and quiet.

The Lodge itself was a great size and had everything you could possibly need, bed was really comfortable too!
The outside space was fantastic and very peaceful & relaxing next to the water with lots of wildlife to a look at.
Being next to a nature reserve there are some beautiful walks to be had nearby and also a really nice local pub.
We will most definitely be returning!”

Location was beautiful and Incredibly peaceful. The lodge itself was fabulous. Exactly like the pictures but better. Enough space inside and a very relaxing lounge and bedroom space. Bathroom was spotless and bigger than expected. The views you just cannot beat. Looking straight out from the Lounge over the water was just perfect. The outdoor hot tub and table space work really well and when it’s light out late in the summer it was amazing to be able to just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. We would absolutely stay again and recommend for a fantastic couple of nights.”
